Enhance your account security by adding additional layers of protection.
To access security options, click on your name located at the top right corner of the platform and go to your profile.
From there, in the left side menu, select the “Credentials” tab, where you will find various options to increase your account's security:
1. Change your password. To do so, enter your current password followed by the new password, repeating it once more to confirm and avoid potential errors. Ensure your new password meets the following minimum security criteria:- At least twelve characters in length.
- Includes at least one number.
- Contains one uppercase and one lowercase letter.
- Incorporates at least one of these special symbols: .,;:-¡!¿?
Remember to save the changes made in the “Credentials” section to ensure your security settings are correctly applied.
2. Verify your email address. To confirm the authenticity of your account, we will send you a verification email. Note that this step is necessary to enable two-factor authentication.
3. Activate two-factor authentication (2FA). Once activated, it adds an additional layer of security to your account. To log in, in addition to your email and password, you will need to enter a code that you will receive in real-time via SMS. This process significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access to your account.
To enable 2FA:
- Make sure your email is verified.
- Provide your mobile phone number, ensuring to include the international prefix (for example, +34), and click "Send SMS code" to receive the verification code via text message. It is important to note that we will not store your phone number in our database. During this step, you may be asked to enter your current password to ensure additional security. Please note that standard SMS rates will apply.
- Enter the received code and select "Activate 2FA" to complete the process.
If you lose access to the phone in which you activated 2FA, please contact us at support@biglelegal.com so we can assist you.
